The Emperor commissioned a prayer book that was designed but not published, and contains several drawings by Albrecht Durer. They are small to fit in the margins. I re-drew the image, cut a linoleum block, and printed it in black ink.
It's a visual parable that I find quite charming. The habd coloring is added "as custom demands".
